The 89th Foire de Marseille
The 89th edition of the biggest public event in Marseille, European Capital of Culture 2013, will present a key value of this ancient city: creativity. Marseille has a rich history that goes back 26 centuries, and has continually reinvented itself through the influences and artists that have made their home here. Marseille is home to almost a million residents, and welcomes many visitors (four million in 2012, of which 310,000 came just for the Fair) and this year it is showcasing an inventive, imaginative, innovative and creative international Fair!
This big event is now more international than ever with over 40 countries confirmed this year including Spain, Vietnam, Algeria, Nepal, Italy, India, South Africa and more.
The Fair hosts increasing numbers of novelties and exhibitors (nearly 1400) and provides an important shop window for businesses working in housing, equipment, food, everyday life, and more.
